I am a designer with 18 years of professional experience designing branding, high-fidelity designs, and web experiences for fast paced environments while providing leadership and mentoring. I am looking for an opportunity to weave user experience into the thread of an organization. I specialize in design-systems creation, accessibility and inclusion, and a special interest in Strategic Foresight.

With T-shaped experience in fortune 500 companies, I have an arsenal of skills to apply to any project. A broad range of abilities are in my quiver, but I focus on providing these skills to lasting projects.
I love it when large organizations create experiences that feel personable, easy to navigate, and easy to use. This is why I love design systems. I prefer to work with teams, in a federated model, to improve the user experience of products through components, and design desicisons.
Accessibility is a human right. While I work with other designers to improve accessibility in products through writing, microcopy, and color...I prefer to focus on Aria tags, WCAG2.0, and 508 compliancy.
As a LUMA Certified Practitioner, I use human-centered design methods to understand new ideas and find positive disruptive solutions.
When it comes to branding, I'm old school. I use an iterative design process to create simple and stunning logos that last.
For years, I've practiced weak signal scanning and applied that to a yearly prediciton bingo, while tracking the outcomes of these predicitions. I am now developing new strategic foresight methodologies mixed with human-centered design, to create an understanding of possible futures.
